Peugeot team principal Emmanuel Esnault has criticized the FIA World Endurance Championship after a disappointing qualifying session for the Le Mans 24 Hours.
The team's 9X8s were eliminated in qualifying, finishing 16th and 18th on the grid. This is a significant drop in performance compared to their recent results, including a fourth-place finish at the Imola 6 Hours and a pole position at the Spa-Francorchamps 6 Hours.
Esnault's criticism comes as the team struggles to understand the reason behind their poor qualifying performance, which saw them miss out on a top 15 spot.
