Toto Wolff, Mercedes Formula 1 team principal, has taken responsibility for a pitstop blunder that resulted in a drive-through penalty for George Russell at the Monaco Grand Prix.
Russell had a difficult weekend, qualifying sixth after being outperformed by teammate Kimi Antonelli in all three qualifying segments.
The penalty further hindered Russell's performance, with Wolff acknowledging the mistake as the team's own error.
