Bubba Wallace was penalized by NASCAR for crossing below the 'out of bounds' line to improve his position at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Wallace had initially thought he secured a second-place finish, which would have helped his chances of making the Chase for the Championship.
The penalty sent the No. 23 to the tail-end of the lead lap, finishing 29th instead, a decision Wallace strongly disagrees with.
