The US Army is establishing a new aerial intelligence hub at Fort Hood in Texas, featuring a fleet of ME-11B High Accuracy Detection and Exploitation System (HADES) aircraft. The HADES jets, converted from Bombardier Global 6500 business jets, will provide advanced reconnaissance capabilities.
The Army is also setting up an operational drone battalion at Fort Hood, which will include MQ-1C Gray Eagle companies and a processing, exploitation, and dissemination company.

The consolidation of the 116th Military Intelligence Brigade at Fort Hood is expected to bring over 1,200 additional personnel to the base by 2028. The new hub will play a key role in the Army's future aerial intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations.
