The French Air Force has successfully integrated laser-guided 68mm rockets onto its Rafale fighter jet, providing a low-cost option for countering drone threats.
The integration, known as Lutte antidrone sur avion de combat (LADAC), was conducted in less than 8 months and will be ready for operational fielding by the end of the month.

The new capability is part of a broader trend in modern air warfare, where air forces are seeking layered, cost-effective intercept options to counter the growing threat of drones and cruise missiles.
