Israeli-Dutch AI startup Wonderful raised $550 million in a Series C funding round, pushing its valuation to $5 billion—more than double its $2 billion valuation from just six months ago. Insight Partners led the round, with Salesforce joining as a new investor and existing backers including Index Ventures, IVP, and Bessemer Venture Partners participating again.
Founded in early 2025, Wonderful initially gained traction with a customer service AI agent platform tailored for non-English markets. Its strategy of embedding engineering teams with customers to deploy and integrate AI systems proved effective, with operations now spanning over 35 countries. The company has since pivoted to a broader platform called Wonderful AI OS, designed to connect agents, workflows, and AI models with existing enterprise systems while allowing customers to retain control of their data.
The fresh capital will accelerate product development, expand forward-deployed engineering teams, and meet surging demand for AI implementation expertise. Roey Lalazar, CTO and co-founder, emphasized the platform’s flexibility, noting customers can integrate components selectively and choose models per workload.
