South Korea's government and top tech companies are investing $1 trillion in megaprojects to boost memory chip supply and deploy humanoid robots by 2028.
The move aims to capitalize on the AI industry's demand for memory chips, which has led to record profits for companies like Samsung and SK Hynix.
President Lee Jae Myung emphasized the need to secure core AI elements, including semiconductors, physical AI, and AI data centers, to drive a great leap forward.
