The Porsche Taycan is getting some updates for the 2027 model year. The 105 kWh performance battery is now standard across the range, which starts at $111,900, and can charge at up to 320 kW with an 800 V DC fast charger.
The Taycan also gets a new NACS port, replacing the CCS1 port, allowing for charging at Tesla superchargers without an adapter. However, only a small percentage of Tesla superchargers can charge near the Taycan's limit.
Porsche will provide a CCS1 adapter for use with Electrify America and other 800 V chargers, and IONNA has native NACS chargers capable of 400 kW.
