Pirelli has confirmed the tyre compounds for the 2026 Italian Grand Prix at Monza, selecting the softest trio from its 2026 range. Teams will receive two sets of the hard C3, three sets of the medium C4, and eight sets of the soft C5, plus access to intermediates and wets if needed.
The allocation includes an extra set of softs for Q3 qualifiers, and drivers must use at least two slick compounds in dry conditions. Pirelli highlights Monza’s high-speed demands, noting simulations predict lap times two seconds faster than last year due to new power units.
Braking stability and traction at key corners like the First Chicane and Ascari will be critical, while rear axle overheating risks remain manageable. A one-stop strategy is expected despite ample overtaking opportunities.
The Autodromo Nazionale Monza remains largely unchanged since its 2024 resurfacing, with minor kerb and run-off adjustments at Turns 1, 4, 5, and 8.
