The Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League (A2RL) will make its first international appearance at Italy’s Imola circuit this season. After two years of testing and racing—both virtually and on real tracks—the league is ready to see how its autonomous racers handle a new environment beyond their home base at Yas Marina.
Five Pro Teams, composed of the top autonomous racing teams, will compete at Imola. The shift tests the adaptability of the league’s self-driving race cars, which have already shown rapid progress in performance and reliability during prior seasons.
The move marks a key step for A2RL as it expands beyond the Middle East, pushing the boundaries of autonomous racing technology in a more demanding setting.
