Lewis Hamilton has been given a reprimand by the stewards for a yellow flag infringement during the British Grand Prix.
The incident occurred on Lap 38 at Turn 9, where Hamilton failed to slow for a single yellow flag. The stewards found that Hamilton had entered the sector before any yellow flag or light panel was displayed and that the yellow indication on his steering wheel only appeared briefly.

Hamilton had already received a five-second time penalty for a false start and lost out on a potential second-place finish due to a late-race Safety Car. This reprimand marks his first of the season. The stewards took into account that Hamilton was battling with Max Verstappen prior to the incident and had limited time to react to the yellow flag indication.
