Ducati has lost its top-rank place in the MotoGP concession status system for the first time since its introduction in 2023. The team scored 657 points, just shy of the 85% cutoff, and will now be classified as rank B.
This change brings some minor benefits, including extra Michelin tyres for private testing and the opportunity to make three wildcard appearances.
The new ranking also affects other teams, with Aprilia moving up to rank B and Honda dropping back to rank D, where it will have more flexibility to test and develop its bike.
