BMW M Team WRT captured its second triumph of the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship at the Rolex 6 Hours of São Paulo on July 12. Drivers Kevin Magnussen, Dries Vanthoor and Raffele Marciello held off a tight three‑way fight with Ferrari and Cadillac to claim the top spot.
The BMW #15 completed 242 laps, posting a fastest lap of 1:25.805. It finished just over two seconds ahead of Ferrari’s #51 entry and roughly six and a half seconds clear of Cadillac’s #12, underscoring the narrow margins that defined the hyper‑car battle.

In the LMGT3 category, Corvette continued its winning streak, with the #34 Racing Team Turkey by TF crew—Charlie Eastwood, Salih Yoluç and Peter Dempsey—taking a commanding victory. Their effort placed them ahead of BMW and Porsche challengers, reinforcing Corvette’s momentum in the class.

BMW’s win propels them forward in the hyper‑car championship leaderboard as the season progresses, while Corvette’s success bolsters its LMGT3 campaign. Both teams will aim to build on these results ahead of the next WEC round.
