US President Donald Trump has threatened a strike on Iran's heavily fortified Pickaxe Mountain facility, saying it is ripe for a "nice big fat shot right in the front door". The facility, also known as Kuh-e Kolang Gaz La, is tied to Iran's nuclear program and has been untouched in previous strikes.
Trump's comments come amid renewed fighting between the US and Iran, with the regime in Tehran declaring the Strait of Hormuz closed to maritime traffic. The US military is moving to reimpose a blockade of Iranian ports.

The Pickaxe Mountain facility is considered one of Iran's hardest-to-reach sites, with two independent tunnel networks built in 2007 and 2020. The US has been monitoring the site, with Trump saying they have "eyes" on it through Space Force and other means.
