The California Science Center has given a sneak peek of its highly anticipated attraction, the Space Shuttle Endeavour, displayed in its 'full stack' configuration. This exhibit will be the centerpiece of the Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center, a 200,000-square-foot expansion of the museum.
Endeavour, the last space shuttle ever built, has a rich history, having flown 25 times and spent 299 days in space. It was built to replace the doomed Challenger and incorporated new features and upgrades, including the first fully activated Advanced Health Management System.

The exhibit is set to open on November 13, 2026, and will be the only place in the world to see a complete, authentic space shuttle system, displayed in a 20-story launch position.
