A rare albino buffalo named ‘Donald Trump’ has been spared from ritual sacrifice in Bangladesh due to its perceived resemblance to the former US president.
The buffalo, which has a distinctive blond tuft of hair, was slated for sacrifice for the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Adha. However, authorities stepped in after it went viral on social media, with Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed ordering that it be spared due to security concerns and public interest.

The buffalo will be relocated to the national zoo in Dhaka, and its buyer will be refunded. The animal's owner, Ziauddin Mridha, said it is unusually gentle and requires constant care, including regular baths and frequent feeding.
