TV Time, a popular TV and movie-tracking app, is shutting down despite a petition from over 25,000 users. However, one of its original founders, Antonio Pinto, is creating a new app called Bingers, which will attempt to rebuild the best features of TV Time.
Bingers will offer TV Time's existing users a potential lifeline and give the social community another place to discuss TV episodes. The new app will address TV Time's performance issues, including slow loading times and high server costs.
The Bingers app is expected to be available on the App Store and Google Play by the end of July 2026. Users can sign up for a waitlist on the Bingers website and import their TV Time archives before the app is removed from stores on July 15.
