Therabody’s Theragun Sense (2nd Gen) offers a lightweight, guided massage experience aimed at everyday aches and tension rather than deep-tissue work. Priced at $299, the device includes four built-in routines and access to more via the Therabody app, where Bluetooth syncs favorites to the device.
The Sense stands out for its step-by-step LCD guidance, showing users exactly where to apply pressure, how long to hold, and the right intensity. Routines like the six-minute “Sleep” session provide a quick full-body prep for bedtime, while options such as “Desk Relief” and “Lower Back Recovery” target common problem areas. Five speed settings let users adjust pressure from gentle to moderate, and the quiet motor makes it practical for use during TV or relaxation time.

Included attachments include the Standard Ball and Dampener for knots, with a $35 Supersoft option for sensitive areas. The Therabody app also features Coach, an AI tool that tailors recovery recommendations based on goals and activity, suggesting targets, settings, and timing for sessions.
While not suited for heavy-duty deep-tissue work, the Theragun Sense delivers a user-friendly, personalized approach to daily recovery at a premium price.
