The Nopia synth, first teased in 2023, is 'basically finished' and will be available by the end of the year. Creators Martin Grieco and Rocío Gal have revealed that the 'harmony machine' will cost around £550.
The Nopia synth features a one-octave keyboard, a 12-button Tonal Selector, and an Extensions Dial, allowing users to play complex harmonies with ease. It also includes performance features like a strum plate and a slider for full chord pitch bends.
The device boasts virtual analog and sample-based synth engines, basic effects, and various connectivity options, including per-module MIDI output. With its unique features and capabilities, the Nopia synth is set to make a significant impact in the music gear market.
