Meta has publicly launched Muse Spark 1.1, a multimodal AI model designed for agentic coding. The model can engage in multistep reasoning, handle complex processes, and deploy new features in enterprise systems. Although Meta is behind its competitors, its entry into the market poses a threat due to its competitive pricing.
Meta's pricing starts at $1.25 per million input tokens and $4.25 per million output tokens, in line with Anthropic's Claude Haiku 4.5 and OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Luna. The company highlights Spark's ability to handle large agentic workloads, fix bugs, and help with large code migrations.
The launch of Muse Spark 1.1 is part of a busy week for AI announcements, with Meta also unveiling a new AI image-generation model and other companies releasing new models, including SpaceXAI and OpenAI.
