Flipkart has expanded its quick-commerce service, Minutes, to 1,000 micro-fulfillment centers in India, less than two years after launch. The company plans to expand the network to 1,500 centers by the end of 2026.
This rapid buildout is part of a larger effort by Flipkart to strengthen its position in India's competitive quick-commerce sector, where companies like Blinkit, Zepto, and Amazon are also investing heavily.
Demand on the platform has grown 400% from a year earlier, with customer retention increasing 20% year-over-year. Flipkart is seeing customers use Minutes alongside its main e-commerce platform, driving more frequent purchases and helping expand into categories like fresh produce and daily essentials.
