Superhuman has acquired GPTZero, a startup that helps detect and defend against AI-generated content. GPTZero was founded by Princeton grad Edward Tian as a senior thesis project and had amassed over 19 million registered users and $30 million in annual recurring revenue.
The acquisition is expected to enhance Superhuman's existing AI detection tool, which is designed to help users determine whether their writing appears AI-generated.

Superhuman says that having two AI detectors is better than one, and the acquisition will help the company improve its platform.
