Binance launched Agent OS, a platform that lets AI agents analyze markets and execute trades using real funds through the exchange’s infrastructure. The system integrates existing tools like APIs, wallet services, and the Model Context Protocol, while connecting to AI models such as ChatGPT and Claude Code. Users must authorize agent access and set granular permissions, including trade types and limits, via dedicated sub-accounts where withdrawals are blocked by default.
Control over agent behavior rests with users, who decide whether agents need approval for each trade or can act autonomously. Binance cannot see the reasoning behind an agent’s decisions, leaving users responsible for monitoring outcomes and potential manipulation risks. The exchange’s existing security and risk policies apply, but no separate caps limit agent trading volume beyond the funds transferred into sub-accounts.

Agent OS also supports payments and on-chain activity, with daily transaction limits set by Binance for different actions. The platform marks Binance’s first step toward broader AI-powered financial applications, joining rivals like Kraken, Coinbase, and OKX in opening infrastructure to autonomous agents.
