Belgian startup Any launched the LUV1, an electric motorcycle designed to bridge the gap between cars and two-wheelers by prioritizing cargo capacity. The modular LUV1 holds up to 120 liters—enough for groceries, luggage, or camping gear—while reaching 100 km/h. Its design, led by former Pininfarina director Lowie Vermeersch, includes swappable panels and accessories like windshields and racks to adapt to commuters, families, or delivery riders.
Priced from €7,000 ($8,150), the LUV1 targets a broad audience beyond traditional motorcycle buyers, including last-mile delivery services. It requires only an A1 license, lowering the barrier to entry compared to higher-powered motorcycles. The startup has already secured over 600 reservations in its first 100 days, with a €49 preorder fee credited toward purchase and fully refundable.
Any is now raising €10 million in a Series A round to scale production ahead of deliveries. The company previously raised €2.75 million, backed by automotive sector investors and led by CEO Pieter Van de Velde, a former VC with experience in e-cargo bike services.
