Apple’s multiview mode on the Apple TV 4K now supports watching four live sports feeds side‑by‑side. The feature, which debuted in 2023, works with the Apple TV app and requires an Apple TV 4K – any generation, including the 2022 third‑gen model that runs an A15 Bionic chip.
At present the service covers three leagues: Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer and Formula 1. MLB is limited to Friday night games, but users can add the MLB Big Inning studio show for extra analysis. MLS is fully integrated into the standard Apple TV subscription, offering unlimited matches and an MLS 360 whiparound show. Formula 1, newly added for the 2026 season, provides the main race feed plus driver‑camera angles, live timing charts and an optional Sky Sports commentary track, and it works for practice and qualifying sessions as well.

To activate multiview, start any live stream and tap the multiview icon in the playback controls. From there you can pick up to four feeds, swap audio focus by swiping between windows, and even use picture‑in‑picture for a minimized view. Similar multiview tools exist on ESPN, YouTube TV and Fubo, and Apple plans to roll the feature out to select LG TVs later this year.
