Anthropic has partnered with Indian IT services giant Tata Consultancy Services to scale its enterprise AI deployments. The partnership will see TCS creating a business unit focused on deploying Anthropic’s AI models to its customers.
TCS will gain early access to new model releases and provide Anthropic’s Claude AI assistant to its employee base of over 50,000 people. The companies will develop solutions for sectors like financial services, healthcare, and aviation.
The deal comes as investors and tech companies have begun doubting the viability of India’s $315-billion IT services amidst the rise of AI. This partnership extends Anthropic’s footprint in India, its second-largest market, where it has been expanding its presence over the past year.
