Adobe has acquired Rilo, a Bangalore-based marketing intelligence startup, in a licensing and team acquisition deal. The companies did not disclose financial terms, and Adobe declined further comment beyond confirming the purchase. Rilo’s six-person team and technology will be integrated into Adobe’s marketing suite, where AI-driven workflow automation is expanding to meet demand from large enterprise customers.
Founded in 2025 by Georgi Boby and Dhruv Jaglan, Rilo raised $1 million at a $10 million valuation from investors including PeakXV and DeVC. Its platform allowed go-to-market teams to build custom workflows for competitor analysis, content repurposing, and sales call evaluation, with features comparable to tools like ChatGPT Work and Claude Cowork. Post-acquisition, Rilo will shut down and its services will no longer be available to customers.
The deal marks Adobe’s second acquisition from India after its 2023 purchase of video platform Rephrase.ai. Analysts suggest Rilo’s technology could enhance Adobe’s customer experience and productivity offerings, aligning with broader industry moves by rivals such as Canva and major platforms like Amazon, Google, and Meta.
