Ferrari Team Principal Fred Vasseur has responded to comments made by Toto Wolff regarding Ferrari's upgrades and cost cap. Wolff suggested that Ferrari must be running out of cost cap soon due to their frequent upgrades. Vasseur found it ironic coming from Wolff and Mercedes, stating that when other teams develop, they are seen as genius, but when Ferrari does, they are accused of cheating.
Vasseur believes in bringing upgrades as early as possible in the season, saying it's better to have a performance advantage for multiple races rather than just a few. He also mentioned that sometimes it's difficult to find performance, and what may seem like a big upgrade can be just a modification of some parts.

The exchange comes ahead of the British Grand Prix, where Ferrari and Lewis Hamilton will look to challenge Mercedes' dominance.
