Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) announced that Todd Malloy, who currently leads the team's race engineering department, will serve as Mick Schumacher's race engineer for the rest of the current Formula 1 season. The move places Malloy directly behind the wheel of the German driver, replacing the previous engineer as RLL seeks to optimise performance in the remaining races.
Schumacher, a rookie with RLL, will now benefit from Malloy's technical oversight and experience in car set‑up, data analysis, and race strategy. The team hopes the change will accelerate development and improve results as the championship draws to a close.
