Lando Norris claimed his second consecutive Formula 1 pole position at the Dutch Grand Prix, fending off both Mercedes drivers and his McLaren teammate during a rain-affected qualifying session.
The McLaren driver set the fastest lap in the drizzle, securing top spot on the grid ahead of George Russell and Lewis Hamilton. Oscar Piastri completed a McLaren front-row lockout in third place.
Norris now leads the championship by 12 points over Max Verstappen, who qualified fourth. The race starts Sunday with conditions expected to improve but still unsettled.
