Frankie Muniz pulled out of his starting position in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway to help teammate Luke Baldwin qualify.
Baldwin and the No. 2 Ford were among five cars that did not qualify for Saturday’s event. Muniz, driving the No. 33 Ford full-time in the series, had already qualified in 36th but chose to step aside to clear Baldwin’s path.
The move allowed Baldwin to avoid a DNQ and take Muniz’s spot on the grid. It’s a rare display of teamwork in a sport where individual advancement usually takes priority.
