Joan Mir and Luca Marini are looking to build on their recent performances with top five results at the Dutch MotoGP in Assen. Mir achieved a season-best fifth place finish at the Czech MotoGP, while Marini finished fifth at the Hungarian GP.
The two Honda riders believe they can continue to show their potential at Assen, despite the circuit being one of the harder tracks to overtake on. Mir said he's feeling good ahead of the weekend and is hopeful of a top five finish.
Marini has achieved six top ten results this season and is also hopeful of a big result at Assen. He emphasized the importance of a strong Friday afternoon session to secure a good starting position.
