The Mazda 787B, a 24 Hours of Le Mans icon, will be back at the circuit in a demonstration capacity. The Group C prototype earned Mazda a historic 24 Hours of Le Mans victory in 1991, making the manufacturer the first Japanese marque to win the world's greatest endurance race.
Developed by Mazdaspeed, the 787B boasts outstanding technology, including a four-disc rotary engine with an output of almost 700 hp. The car's distinctive high-pitched rotary engine sound is a signature sound immediately recognisable to endurance racing fans.
Spectators will have three opportunities to admire the Mazda 787B in action, with 10-minute demonstrations scheduled on Friday, July 3, Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5.
