Marc Marquez has emerged as a MotoGP title challenger after his victory at the Czech Grand Prix. He has reduced the deficit to leader Marco Bezzecchi to 40 points after scoring back-to-back wins.
Marquez was 102 points behind Bezzecchi after the Italian Grand Prix but has made significant progress in the last two rounds. His win at Brno was helped by Bezzecchi's ban from Sunday's race following an altercation with a marshal.

Marquez has warned that he needs to survive the upcoming Assen race before considering a title push. He struggled with his fitness at Brno due to the layout taking a toll on his recovering right shoulder and called his victory 'totally unexpected'.
