Marc Marquez has revealed that he had an informal conversation with Honda about a potential return to the team in 2027. The seven-time world champion recently signed a two-year extension with Ducati, but admitted to discussing a possible comeback with his former team.
Marquez joined Ducati in 2024 and won the world championship the following year. He had previously spent nine seasons with Honda, winning six of his seven world titles with the team.

Despite the temptation of a romantic return to Honda, Marquez prioritized a new deal with Ducati, citing the need to make decisions with his head rather than his heart. He has stated that his decision to leave Honda in 2023 was difficult, but ultimately worked out well for him.
