Pecco Bagnaia believes Honda currently has the most effective launch package on the MotoGP grid. The Ducati rider says that when you're close to a Honda at the start, you will lose your position.
Bagnaia's statement is backed by Honda's factory rider Luca Marini, who set a new Honda 0-100km/h record during a practice start at Barcelona last season.
Bagnaia has been struggling with starts on his factory Ducati this season, but a recent electronic adjustment showed promise. He hopes to improve his starts going forward, after a fortunate wheelspin at the Hungarian MotoGP kept him out of a Turn 1 accident.
