Ferrari’s Zandvoort upgrade, introduced after sprint qualifying, appears modest but targets critical airflow paths under the car. The team modified the bargeboard mounting system to better prepare the underfloor flow, a change that costs little and stays within the cost cap. A reduced outer vertical turning vane height and repositioned floor splitters work together to strengthen the floor’s sealing system along the sides, improving consistency rather than outright downforce.
The upgrade also includes adjustments to the diffuser’s trailing edge, beam wing chord length, and a repositioned vertical trailing edge trip to stabilize airflow at high-speed transitions. These tweaks prioritize aerodynamic stability, giving drivers more predictable behavior on corner entry—a key factor in lap time consistency.

Ferrari also adjusted its infrared camera setup to monitor front and rear tyre temperatures more accurately. The new camera position on the endplate foot minimizes aerodynamic disruption while providing clearer readings, crucial for optimizing one-lap qualifying performance.
