Christian Eckes, a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver, is racing at Lime Rock Park with an injury.
The injury occurred on June 19, after the Truck race at the San Diego street course, when Eckes stepped in a hole and his left foot rolled the wrong way, resulting in a Grade 3 Lateral Sprain.
Eckes' injury was revealed during the FOX Sports 1 broadcast, and he is currently competing at Lime Rock Park despite the setback.
