Former Haas team principal Guenther Steiner has called on Cadillac to halt development of its 2026 Formula 1 car and redirect resources to its 2027 entry instead.
Cadillac joined F1 this season with Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas as its driver lineup, though early results have not met expectations. Steiner argues that shifting focus now would improve the team’s long-term competitiveness.
The recommendation comes as Cadillac navigates its debut season in the championship, where immediate performance gains have proven difficult.
