Pedro Acosta told reporters at the Dutch MotoGP press conference that he does not expect KTM to sort out the bike’s reliability problems before the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring in July. The Spanish rider endured a weekend of mechanical setbacks in Brno, including a practice failure, a ride‑height device glitch that led to a crash at turn 11 in the Sprint, and a bike breakdown on the final lap of the race.
The German event, scheduled for 10–12 July, follows the Dutch round and marks the last race of the 2026 season before a four‑week summer break. Acosta hopes the second half of his final year with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing will be free of the recurring issues that have plagued the Austrian team in recent outings.

Looking ahead, Acosta confirmed his move to Ducati for 2027, where he will join nine‑time champion Marc Marquez. He said he intends to draw on Marquez’s experience to manage race pressure and hopes KTM can deliver a more reliable package after the break, even if improvements won’t arrive in time for Sachsenring.
