The US struck Iranian missile, drone, and radar sites on Friday in response to Iran's attack on a Singapore-flagged cargo ship.
The attack on the M/V Ever Lovely occurred on Thursday while the vessel was leaving the Strait of Hormuz along the coast of Oman.
The US military described the strikes as a response to Iran's violation of a ceasefire signed between the two countries last week, which included a 14-point memorandum of understanding to reopen the strait for commercial ships.
