Poland has been named among potential customers in a $131.23 billion U.S. contract covering the F-15EX Eagle II program, though Warsaw insists it has no plans to acquire the aircraft. The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract establishes a long-term framework for Foreign Military Sales, including Poland, but does not confirm any orders. The Pentagon’s list also includes Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Singapore, and Indonesia, though the latter abandoned its F-15EX plans earlier this year.
The inclusion follows a pattern seen with Poland’s 2017 AH-64 Apache procurement. After initially denying selection in a sensor contract, Warsaw later became the Apache’s largest international customer, ordering 96 helicopters. Boeing has actively promoted the F-15EX to Poland, including a 2025 demonstration flight by a Polish Air Force general, but Warsaw’s Ministry of National Defense maintains there is no formal acquisition process underway.
Poland’s military expansion continues with 32 F-35As already ordered and another 32 planned, alongside upgrades to its F-16 fleet and purchases of FA-50s, K2 tanks, and M1A2 Abrams. While the F-15EX could complement the F-35 with its payload and range, Poland’s current stance leaves the possibility speculative.
