The new Air Force VC-25B Bridge jet has officially joined the Presidential Airlift Group. This modified 747-8i, gifted by Qatar, will serve as an interim Air Force One aircraft ahead of the delayed arrival of two fully outfitted VC-25Bs from Boeing.
The jet features President Trump's preferred paint scheme, a significant change from the traditional Kennedy-era scheme used for over 60 years.
The aircraft will undergo commissioning flights, which are the final tests for the aircraft modification, before it becomes available for presidential missions.
