President Donald Trump is scheduled to tour the Cobb County School District on July 16, 2026, in an event the district says will highlight its education programs and student success.
Cobb County, Georgia's second‑largest public system and the 23rd‑largest in the United States, serves more than 105,000 students across 112 schools. The district boasts 22 National Blue Ribbon Schools, 56 Georgia Schools of Excellence, and a top ranking in Metro Atlanta on the 2024‑25 Georgia Milestones assessments. Students routinely beat state and national averages on the ACT and SAT, and the graduation rate sits at 89.2%, well above both state and national figures. Scholarships exceeding $160 million have been awarded to the class of 2026.
