Natalie Harp, a 35-year-old special assistant to President Trump, sent him intimate letters in 2023 expressing unwavering devotion and envy of his attention to others. The notes, published in full for the first time by The Daily Beast, include lines like “You are all that matters to me” and “I want that job!!” referring to her desire to be his sole companion. Harp, known internally as the “Human Printer” for curating positive reports, has become Trump’s most visible gatekeeper, even serving as a conduit for foreign leaders.
The letters were discovered by campaign staff and later shared with author Michael Wolff, who described the relationship as “not a relationship that should exist in a professional setting.” Wolff said aides revolted over Harp’s growing influence despite her lack of relevant experience. Harp’s access includes Trump’s Truth Social account and a Truth Social–style writing style, while she declined a required background check for a year. The White House dismissed criticism as “Fake News,” attacking Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff for joking about Trump’s preference for traveling with Harp.
Harp accompanied Trump on a 2023 golf trip to his Scottish and Irish courses, where she wrote apologizing for logistical missteps and expressing burnout. Her brother told CNN she has an “unhealthy obsession” with the president, and her father died by suicide in 2020.
