SpaceX has released its latest residential dish, the Starlink V5, which is now available in select areas. The new dish is notably smaller and lighter than the V4, with improved power efficiency.
The Starlink V5 has a peak download speed of 375+ Mbps, slightly lower than the V4's 400+ Mbps. It is compatible with Router 2, 3, and Router Mini.
The company plans to increase production to meet global demand, making the V5 available in more areas. However, it's not intended for in-motion use, with the revamped Starlink Mini teased for that purpose.
