Jaguar Land Rover has introduced the 2027 Range Rover Electric, marking the brand’s first factory-built battery-electric variant. The SUV delivers up to 333 miles of real-world range while retaining the brand’s signature comfort and off-road capability. Priced from $138,000, it undercuts restomod conversions by half and includes modern safety systems like airbags and advanced driver assistance.
The Range Rover Electric retains the classic silhouette, with subtle updates such as a smoother front grille and aerodynamic wheels to reduce drag. Its most obvious EV cue is the absence of tailpipes, though the flat underbody remains hidden from view. Jaguar Land Rover positioned the electric model as a Range Rover first, ensuring minimal visual disruption to the lineup.
Demand appears strong: the automaker reports 80,000 hand-raisers, half from North America, with 70% new to the brand and 20% already EV owners. Deliveries are slated for 2027, pending final production and supply chain conditions.
