PixVerse, a Singapore-based video generation startup, has closed its Series C extension with $439 million in funding, pushing its valuation past $2 billion. The company plans to use the funds to expand its world model offering and reach customers globally.
Founded in 2023 by Wang Changhu and Jaden Xie, PixVerse offers multiple models for video generation, including a V-Series for consumer and API use, and an R-Series for game development. The startup claims over 150 million registered users and 15 million monthly active users for its consumer product.
With this new funding, PixVerse aims to hire more researchers and expand its enterprise outreach, competing in a market with players like ByteDance and Midjourney. The company plans to launch a new V-series model and release a new version of its world model this year.
