Nandan Nilekani, co-founder of Infosys, is stepping down as general partner at Fundamentum Partnership. He will remain the fund's anchor investor and continue to advise the firm.
Fundamentum is launching its third fund, targeting $200 million, with Nilekani making his largest-ever commitment to a venture capital fund. The fund aims to back eight to ten early-stage startups in consumer technology, fintech, and AI.
The leadership change also broadens Fundamentum's senior investment team, with Prateek Jain, Mayank Kachhwaha, and Sanjay Chaturvedi leading Fund III alongside Sanjeev Aggarwal.
