Google has finally made its new smart speaker available for preorder, nearly ten months after its announcement. The Google Home Speaker will launch on June 25 and costs $100.
The device features a unique design, with a partially recycled fabric cover available in four colors. It also includes a light ring around the bottom that glows when the device is listening or responding.
The speaker is equipped with three far-field microphones and a mute switch, allowing users to control when the device is listening for voice commands. The Google Home Speaker is the company's first new smart home speaker in years, following the release of the Nest Audio in 2020.
